It’s 7am. Do you know where your puppy is?

Standard

Dogs can be wonderful companions. From the moment you get up till the moment you retire for the night, some dogs are right there by your side, protecting, shepherding or just making you smile. For most people, the dog is the alarm clock, rousing their owners by licking, by barking or just by an anticipatory wagging of the tail.

Not my dog.  My dog is barely alive at 7am let alone a rousing, licking, companion-ing being.

“If it’s not noon, you don’t see me.”

The only thing that dog is anticipating is me leaving the room so she can get some peace and quiet.

Sigh… Goofy puppy.
